DINZ held the first Aotearoa Digital Identity Hui Taumata

In November we brought the DINZ community together for our first-ever virtual Hui Taumata.

Bianca Lopes and David Birch shared with us their International perspectives and insights, including a whirlwind Identity world tour hosted by Bianca and her team at Talle. You can watch that video presentation here.

Our kapa kōrero exploring identity from a Te Ao Māori perspective was illuminating and insightful, thanks for the wise and considered thoughts of Jane Retimana, Kaye Maree Dunn, Belinda Allen and Ben Tairea.

We closed out the day with a briefing from Alan Bell and Emma O’Connell from the Digital Identity Transition Programme of the DIA. They outlined the next steps in the programme as moving into 2021, as well as opportunities for active engagement and shaping of the Digital Identity framework that is to come. Given the importance of the programme to the Aotearoa digital identity community, we have also made that session available for all to access here.

Please contact us if you are interested in viewing the full programme of videos. This has been made available to all registered participants, and it’s not too late to take advantage of this valuable resource!
