Webinar: Trust and Identity: Digital Identity NZ 2020 research findings
This is a Tech Alliance event
The 2020 report features some additional analysis of trust and consent, as well as seeking to gain a greater understanding of the digital identity amongst Māori, Pacifika and Senior communities.
In 2019 we commissioned research to gain a benchmark understanding of digital identity and trust amongst New Zealanders. The results were overwhelming, with 79% of participants
concerned about the protection of their identity and use of personal data by organisations and only 5% feeling confident about their rights when it comes to their digital identity and data.
We are pleased to be presenting the findings of our 2020 research at the beginning of Techweek. The 2020 edition has been produced in partnership with Internet NZ and the Digital Council for Aotearoa, and supported by Middleware NZ, ASB, Department of Internal Affairs, Payments NZ, Centrality Fintech, Tradewindow and 2 Shakes.
The 2020 report features some additional analysis of trust and consent, as well as seeking to gain a greater understanding of the digital identity amongst Māori, Pacifika and Senior communities, and to better understand the online experience of people with specific accessibility needs.
