Join FinTechNZ and Digital Identity NZ and have your say on the proposed Customer and Product Data Bill. The Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment (MBIE) is seeking feedback on a draft of this Bill which will allow customers to safely access and exchange data held about them.

As a purely online, interactive session, explore the key issues in the Unlocking value from our customer data – Discussion document, then break out into a facilitated roundtable discussion designed to explore and readily capture your more nuanced views.

Your input will help inform MBIE’s advice to Ministers on the Bill. In advance, we recommend you attend MBIE’s public webinar for potential accredited requestors to learn more about the Bill.

This is an especially important opportunity for our communities given it is, in effect, the last chance we have to shape the proposed bill and have our respective member views represented in the future of Open Banking and Open Finance in Aotearoa/NZ.
